Refund Policy

Effective Date: March 2026

Thank you for purchasing Photo Editor, Makeup: Retouch, a digital product developed by Denali Digital.

This Refund Policy explains the circumstances under which you may cancel a purchase, request a refund, or terminate a subscription purchased through our website.

By purchasing a subscription, digital service, credit package, or other product through our website, you acknowledge that you have read and agreed to this Refund Policy.

1. Payment Processing by Paddle

Payments made through our website are processed by Paddle.com Market Limited or its applicable affiliated entity (“Paddle”).

Paddle acts as the Merchant of Record for transactions completed through our website. This means that Paddle is responsible for:

  • Processing your payment;
  • Calculating and collecting applicable taxes;
  • Issuing invoices and payment receipts;
  • Managing subscription billing;
  • Processing approved refunds; and
  • Handling payment disputes and chargebacks.

Your bank statement may display a charge from PADDLE.NET, PADDLE.COM, or a similar Paddle billing description.

This Refund Policy should be read together with Paddle’s Buyer Terms and Refund Policy. Where applicable consumer protection law or Paddle’s terms provide you with greater rights, those rights will apply.

2. General Refund Policy

Unless otherwise required by applicable law, payments for subscriptions, digital services, AI-generated results, image-processing services, and digital credit packages are generally non-refundable once the relevant service has been provided, used, or consumed.

We may nevertheless approve a full or partial refund at our discretion in circumstances including:

  • An accidental duplicate charge;
  • A technical issue that prevented you from accessing the purchased service;
  • A purchase made without your authorization;
  • A billing error;
  • A service that was materially different from its description;
  • A subscription renewal that qualifies for a refund under applicable law or Paddle’s policies; or
  • Another exceptional circumstance that we determine reasonably justifies a refund.

Submitting a refund request does not guarantee that a refund will be approved.

3. Fourteen-Day Withdrawal Period

Depending on your country of residence, you may have a statutory right to withdraw from a digital service contract within fourteen days of the purchase or subscription renewal date.

To exercise this right, you must submit your request within fourteen days of the applicable transaction.

Your statutory withdrawal right may be limited or lost where:

  • You expressly requested immediate access to the digital service;
  • The service began with your prior consent;
  • You acknowledged that immediate performance could affect or waive your right of withdrawal;
  • Digital credits or services have already been consumed;
  • An AI image-editing or generation request has already been processed; or
  • The requested digital output has already been delivered.

Nothing in this Refund Policy limits any non-waivable rights available to you under applicable consumer protection law.

4. Subscription Cancellations

You may cancel your subscription at any time through:

  • The subscription management link included in your Paddle receipt;
  • Paddle’s buyer support portal;
  • Your account or billing settings, where available; or
  • Our customer support team.

Cancelling a subscription prevents future renewals but does not normally provide a refund for an already completed billing period.

After cancellation, you may continue using the subscription until the end of the period for which you have already paid, unless:

  • A refund is issued;
  • Access is terminated due to fraud, misuse, or a violation of our terms; or
  • Applicable law requires a different outcome.

Deleting the application, deleting your account, or discontinuing use of the service does not automatically cancel an active subscription.

5. Subscription Renewals

Subscriptions may renew automatically at the frequency and price displayed during checkout unless they are cancelled before the renewal date.

Users are responsible for cancelling subscriptions before renewal if they no longer wish to continue using the service.

A renewal payment may be considered for a refund when:

  • The request is submitted within fourteen days of the renewal;
  • The renewed subscription has not been materially used;
  • The renewal resulted from a verified technical or billing error; or
  • A refund is required under applicable law.

Frequent use of premium editing features, consumption of credits, or generation of digital outputs following renewal may affect refund eligibility.

6. Free Trials and Promotional Offers

Where a free trial is offered, the subscription may automatically convert into a paid subscription at the end of the trial period unless it is cancelled before the displayed trial expiration date.

It is your responsibility to review the trial terms and cancel before the trial ends if you do not wish to be charged.

Failure to cancel a free trial before it converts into a paid subscription does not automatically guarantee a refund. However, you may submit a refund request, which will be evaluated according to:

  • Applicable law;
  • Paddle’s refund rules;
  • The date of the charge;
  • Whether the subscription was used after the charge; and
  • The circumstances described in your request.

Promotional, discounted, introductory, or trial-based subscriptions remain subject to the same renewal and cancellation rules unless otherwise stated during checkout.

7. Digital Credits and AI Processing

Photo Editor, Makeup: Retouch may offer digital credits or usage-based services for features such as:

  • Lip Plump;
  • Makeup filters;
  • Acne removal;
  • Skin smoothing;
  • Photo retouching;
  • Photo enhancement; and
  • Other AI-powered image-editing features.

Digital credits and usage-based purchases are generally non-refundable once they have been used to initiate or complete an image-processing request.

A credit is considered consumed when:

  • An uploaded image has been submitted for processing;
  • A request has been sent to an AI or image-processing provider;
  • Processing resources have been allocated;
  • An edited result has been generated; or
  • The final output has been delivered or made available to the user.

A refund or credit restoration may be considered if a processing request failed because of a verified technical error and no usable result was delivered.

Dissatisfaction based solely on subjective preferences, including appearance, editing style, color, makeup intensity, or perceived image quality, does not automatically qualify for a refund where the service operated as described.

8. Duplicate or Incorrect Charges

Please contact us or Paddle promptly if you believe that:

  • You were charged more than once for the same purchase;
  • You were charged an incorrect amount;
  • You were charged after properly cancelling your subscription;
  • You do not recognize a transaction; or
  • Tax or currency conversion appears to have been applied incorrectly.

We may request information such as:

  • Your Paddle transaction or order number;
  • The email address used during checkout;
  • The transaction date;
  • The charged amount;
  • A receipt or invoice; and
  • A description of the issue.

Do not send full payment card details, security codes, passwords, or other sensitive authentication information.

9. Technical Problems

Before requesting a refund because of a technical issue, please contact our support team and allow us a reasonable opportunity to investigate or resolve the problem.

A refund may be considered where:

  • The application or purchased service was materially inaccessible;
  • A persistent technical error prevented the use of a paid feature;
  • Credits were deducted without processing the requested image;
  • No output was generated due to a confirmed system failure; or
  • The service could not be provided within a reasonable period.

Refunds may not be available where the problem was caused by:

  • An unsupported or outdated device;
  • An unstable internet connection;
  • Insufficient device storage;
  • Incorrect account credentials;
  • Third-party device restrictions;
  • A modified, jailbroken, or otherwise unsupported operating environment;
  • Failure to install available updates; or
  • Use of the service contrary to its instructions or Terms of Use.

10. How to Request a Refund

Refund requests for purchases processed by Paddle should be submitted through Paddle’s buyer support portal.

You may also contact us at:

Email: sukru@denalidigital.co

Please include:

  • Your full name;
  • The email address used for the purchase;
  • Your Paddle transaction or order number;
  • The date and amount of the transaction;
  • The product or subscription purchased;
  • The reason for the refund request; and
  • Any relevant screenshots or supporting information.

We may review the request and provide information to Paddle, but the refund itself will be processed through Paddle.

We will not send refund payments directly by bank transfer, cryptocurrency, cash, or another payment platform for purchases originally processed through Paddle.

11. Refund Processing Time

Approved refunds are returned through the original payment method.

The time required for the refunded amount to appear in your account may vary depending on:

  • Paddle’s processing time;
  • Your payment method;
  • Your bank or card provider;
  • Your country; and
  • Currency conversion or intermediary payment systems.

Once a refund has been issued through Paddle, we cannot control the time taken by your financial institution to display the funds.

Any applicable tax included in an approved transaction refund will be handled by Paddle in accordance with its policies and applicable law.

12. Effect of a Refund

When a full refund is issued:

  • Your subscription or access to the refunded service may be terminated;
  • Unused credits associated with the refunded purchase may be removed;
  • Previously generated content may no longer be available through your account;
  • Premium features may become unavailable; and
  • You may be required to discontinue use of the refunded product or service.

Where a partial refund is issued, access may be adjusted proportionally depending on the circumstances.

Refunds do not necessarily require the deletion of personal data. Personal data deletion requests are handled separately in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable law.

13. Fraud, Abuse, and Chargebacks

We reserve the right to reject a refund request where there is reasonable evidence of:

  • Fraudulent activity;
  • Refund abuse;
  • Repeated purchases followed by refund requests;
  • Excessive use of services before requesting a refund;
  • Manipulation of subscription or payment systems;
  • Unauthorized resale or transfer of digital services;
  • False or misleading statements; or
  • A violation of our Terms of Use.

If you do not recognize a charge, please contact us or Paddle before initiating a chargeback so that the issue can be investigated promptly.

Initiating a chargeback does not guarantee a refund and may result in the suspension of the related account while the payment dispute is reviewed.

14. Purchases Made Through Third-Party App Stores

This Refund Policy applies only to purchases completed through our website and processed by Paddle.

Purchases made through the Apple App Store, Google Play Store, or another third-party marketplace are subject to that platform’s own billing, cancellation, and refund policies.

We cannot directly issue refunds for transactions controlled by Apple, Google, or another third-party marketplace.

15. Mandatory Consumer Rights

Nothing in this Refund Policy excludes, restricts, or replaces rights that cannot legally be waived under applicable consumer protection laws.

Where this Refund Policy conflicts with mandatory law, Paddle’s applicable Buyer Terms, or Paddle’s Refund Policy, the provision granting the consumer the highest level of mandatory protection will apply.

16. Changes to This Refund Policy

We may update this Refund Policy periodically to reflect:

  • Changes to our products or subscription plans;
  • Changes to Paddle’s payment processes;
  • Changes in applicable law;
  • Operational or technical changes; or
  • Improvements to our customer support procedures.

The updated policy will be published on our website with a revised effective date.

Changes will not retroactively reduce any mandatory rights applicable to a transaction completed before the updated policy became effective.
